Join us for Mass as we celebrate the victorious Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ at the Easter Vigil and on Easter Sunday! Click for our full schedule of Masses.

Please join us throughout the holy season of Lent at St. Charles — in worship, confession, prayer, outreach, Stations of the Cross, and more as we journey together with Christ towards Easter.

Pray the Stations of the Cross with us every Friday in Lent at 7:00 PM in the Church. On March 7 and April 4, First Friday Mass will follow the Stations.

We will have a Penance Service for the season of Lent for our Pastorate (with St. Gabriel) on Wednesday, April 9 from 7:00 – 8:30 PM in our church, including the opportunity for individual confessions in English and Spanish.

Join Fr. Canisius, Fr. Miguel, Seminarian Thang, and your fellow parishioners from St. Charles and St. Gabriel for a special day of Lenten prayer and devotions as we celebrate Jubilee Year 2025 together at the National Shrine Grotto in Emmitsburg!

The season of Lent begins with Ash Wednesday on March 5. Join us for Mass with blessing and imposition of ashes: 7:30 AM, 12:10 PM, and 7:30 PM. Be reconciled and return to the Lord by means of prayer, fasting and deeds of loving service.

The Parish Office will be closed on Monday, February 17 in observance of the Presidents' Day holiday. Morning Mass will be celebrated at 7:30 AM as usual.

Wednesday, January 1st is the Solemnity of Mary, the Mother of God. It is a Hoy Day of Obligation. We will have Masses at St. Charles on Tuesday, December 31 at 6PM and Wednesday, January 1 at 9AM. The Parish Office will be CLOSED on January 1.

Join us for Mass as we celebrate the Nativity of Our Lord! On Christmas Eve — Tuesday, December 24: Masses at 4PM and 8PM. On Christmas Day — Wednesday, December 25: Mass at 9:00 AM.

We'll be putting up the Christmas trees, garland, ribbons, and wreaths in the church on Saturday, December 21, starting at 9:00 AM. If you can lend a hand, or two, and help get our beautiful church ready for Christmas, please join us!

Bring the figure of Baby Jesus from your home Nativity scene to Mass on the weekend of December 14-15 for this special blessing! This tradition reminds families about the joyous event of Baby Jesus' arrival in the manger.

We will have a Penance Service for the season of Advent for our Pastorate AT ST. GABRIEL on Wednesday, December 11 from 7:00 - 8:30 PM, including the opportunity for individual confessions in English and Spanish.

The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary — a Holy Day of Obligation and Patronal Feast Day of the United States of America — will be observed on Monday, December 9. Masses will be at 7:30 AM, 12:10 PM, and 7:30 PM at St. Charles.

Come join us as we gather to give thanks to God for all his blessings and to celebrate Thanksgiving with Mass for the Pastorate on Thursday, November 28 at 9AM. Bring the bread and/or wine to be shared at your Thanksgiving table for a blessing!

Mass for All Souls Day will be celebrated at 9:00 AM on Saturday, November 2. We will remember especially all those who were buried from St. Charles over the past year by lighting a candle in their memory. All are invited to attend.

Friday, November 1 is the Solemnity of All Saints, a Holy Day of Obligation. Masses will be offered at 7:30 AM, 12:10 PM, and 7:30 PM. The 7:30 PM Mass will also incorporate some All Souls observances for the Commemoration of the Faithful Departed.

Save the date for our annual blessing of the animals: Saturday, October 5 at 10:00 AM in the Mary Garden. All animals should be in cages or on a leash. The Memorial of Saint Francis of Assisi is October 4.

We welcome Mr. Thang Pham, a seminarian of the Archdiocese of Baltimore, who will be with us during his pastoral year to know more about St. Charles Borromeo Church and St. Gabriel Church — the people, the faith life, and ministries. Let us pray for him and make his stay pleasant and worthwhile!

The Parish Office will be CLOSED on Monday, September 2 in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Morning Mass for the pastorate will be celebrated at 9:00 AM at St. Gabriel in Windsor Mill; there will be no Mass at St. Charles.

Thursday, August 15 is the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a Holy Day of Obligation. Masses will be offered at St. Charles at 7:30 AM, 12:10 PM, and 7:30 PM on August 15 in the church.
