Daily Masses and special services continue to be livestreamed via our Facebook page and to our YouTube channel to ensure that the faithful maintain a spiritual connection with the parish.
The Catholic Bishops lifted the dispensation of the Sunday and Holy Days Mass obligation in the Archdiocese of Baltimore, the Archdiocese of Washington, and the Dioceses of Arlington, Richmond, Wheeling-Charleston, and Wilmington and reinstated that obligation as of June 26, 2021.
They welcome and encourage the Faithful to return to full in-person participation of the Sunday Eucharist, the source and summit of our Catholic faith. This obligation does not apply to those who are ill; those who have reason to believe that they were recently exposed to the coronavirus, another serious or contagious illness; those who are confined to their home, a hospital, or nursing facility; or those with serious underlying health conditions.

Children's readings and closed captions
Martha Yalov, our CLOW leader, posts weekly videos on our Facebook page proclaiming the Sunday readings from a simplified lectionary translation created for children. These videos also contain “closed captions” so they are wonderful for those who suffer from hearing loss or are deaf. They are about 9-10 minutes long. Gather the family and check it out this weekend!
"Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." Mark 10:14
Children are invited to participate year-round in the Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) during the 11:00 AM Sunday Mass on the second Sunday of each month. After the opening prayer of Mass, the children are dismissed to an area where the Word of God is shared with them on an interactive, age-appropriate level that helps the children understand and integrate God's word in their young lives. The children return to their families in the main worship area at the beginning of the Offertory.
