Did you know that Saint Charles Borromeo risked his very life and went into tremendous debt to feed and care for 60,00 to 70,000 of the people of Milan during the plague and the famine of 1576? The civil authorities all fled during the worst of it, but Bishop Charles Borromeo stayed and cared for the people. Saint Charles knew that caring for the people was charity done for Christ.
To live by his example, there are so many ways we can serve our neighbors. After Masses on the weekend of February 3-4, 2024, we will offer a Wellness Event as our Anniversary Celebration event for February, where our parish nurses will perform free Blood Pressure screenings and help you with resources about any other medical concerns you may have. Working to stay healthy is a great way to honor our caring patron saint during our special anniversary celebration!
Please join us in the Rectory basement after Mass for light refreshments and wellness information on February 3rd & 4th!
