"Who Was Maria Jones?"

This lecture will look at the people found in our early sacramentary, covering 1848-1870: births, deaths, and marriages. Using genealogical methods, Pamela Wright will try to identify our earliest parishioners, what they did, and where they lived. She will also put our parish into the historical context of this very critical time in our country’s history.

The period covers the time of slavery, the civil war, and early reconstruction. All are welcome to join this free presentation!
