On Friday, August 5, we officially closed on the sale of our Parish Center building to the Yeshivas Toras Simcha School. In the coming weeks, we will be widening the access drive along the side of the rectory and adding additional parking spaces as required by Baltimore County zoning regulations. Vehicle access will be available via the Sudbrook Lane entrance during construction.
Last week we also needed to replace one of the two air conditioning units in the rectory. The second unit is also reaching the end of its useful life and will need to be replaced before the next cooling season. Over the next several months, I will be consulting with our Parish Pastoral Council and Finance Committee, as together we plan the path forward for our faith community here at St. Charles.
