The Catholic Daughters of the Americas is one of the oldest and largest organizations of Catholic women in the Americas. They donate to charities, administer scholarship programs, and strive "to be helping hands where there is pain, poverty, sorrow or sickness."
We have an active Catholic Daughters group and a Junior Catholic Daughters group right here at St. Charles!
On March 11, 2022, Catholic Daughters and Junior Catholic Daughters prayed a Rosary and prayed/sung St. Faustina's Stations of the Cross outside FemiCare abortion clinic in Lutherville during the 40 Days for Life campaign.
On March 18, 2022, Catholic Daughters and Junior Catholic Daughters led St. Charles in St. Faustina's Stations of the Cross. CDA members Lillian Simmons, Ruthanne Otto, and Myrtle St. Rose read for us on the altar. JCDA girls, Catherine and Petra Norman, Christy Carlson, Maggie Walz, Veronica Goodman, and Therese DeMarco led us in the singing.
Girls and young women ages 6-18 can join the Junior Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
