Thank you all so very much for joining us and participating at our cultural heritage celebration on Sunday, May 28. It was truly a beautiful representation of the rich diversity of our parish family and your dedication to St. Charles Borromeo Parish. We thank all who helped with the preparation for the liturgy and the planning and setting up for our parish-wide picnic celebration. Let us continue to journey together in faith! We give thanks to Almighty God for the blessings bestowed upon us, our families, and our parish family. What gifts of the Holy Spirit do I recognize in myself? How do I bring these gifts to parish life? May God bless us all.
~ Fr. Canisius
We believe in a Triune God: one God, three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The whole of the Church’s life flows from this central belief, and it reveals who God is, and how we are meant to be united to him. Christians are baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
In celebrating the Trinity, the Church is bringing to the forefront what ought to be the foundational principle of our lives: God is love, he made us for love, and he desires that we live in this love with him forever. Let us revel in that divine love and let it permeate our lives!
